This was a young Arabian horse I photographed at a location very near my home near Santa Fe, NM. I love shooting here because the quality of light inside the barn is so beautiful. It is a 100-year-old barn made from adobe bricks and earth plaster. The way the light wrapped around his head and accentuated his eyes, really showed his young, innocent nature.

“Innocence” is a young Arabian gelding that I photographed at a friend’s place in Galisteo, NM several years ago. The quality of light in this one spot in the barn was beautiful, and this horse just seemed so young and innocent, especially the look in his eyes.
