Introduction:  Patek Philippe 1585 Vintage Calatrava made in 18K rose gold, and measuring 34mm in diameter with fluted hooded lugs.  The watch was made in1954. The watch is fitted with a 12-400 caliber 18-jewel manual wind movement The watch has a silver white dial, raised rose gold Arabic numerals and baton hour markers.  The watch is accompanied with an extract from the archives confirming its date of manufacture and further sale.  The watch further has an brown Patek Philippe alligator strap and its vintage gold buckle.

Essay:  Reference 1585 was launched in 1944 to 1950. This is a stunning  reference and incredibly rare watch. Featuring a pink (Rose) gold case, and hooded scroll lugs, this watch has a larger wrist presence due to the design of the lugs and case.  Beyond the extraordinary rarity and beauty of this watch, it is in excellent original condition and well preserved.
